Dogue de Bordeaux

French Mastiff

Box Elder Bordeaux

             Puppies Born April 25, 2009

When it is time to take your new puppy home you will receive a blanket that smells like mommy to help through those first few nights in a their new home, and dog food packets from the brand they are fed and registration papers

I recommend that you visit the puppies when they are about five weeks old to pick your puppy.  If you are unable to visit, I can pick a puppy for you based on the pictures I have and a description of what you are looking for.  Shipping is available at the buyer's expense.

Facts to remember when picking out a Dogue de Bordeaux

  • They do not bark without a good reason.  The Dogue is a gentle, calm, sensitive animal that forms a strong bond with his owner and is very affectionate with children.  They will willingly accept other household pets .
  • Early socialization and obedience training is a must for this breed.  If you are unwilling or unable to accomplish the early and ongoing socialization and training this breed is not for you.
  • The Dogue, like the Bulldog, have their own health challenges and health issues.  They are not known for their long life or good hips/elbows.  When purchasing a Bordeaux even from the best of breeders they are STILL a Bordeaux with a history of poor health because of their breed.
